This page is for server administrators who are interested in linking
their IRC server to GalaxyNet. Please do not fill out and submit an
application unless you are serious about linking, since it will create
a lot of unnecessary work for our staff.

Server
Application Requirements
Your server must be a stable UNIX host with an average of a week's
uptime.
Your server must be able to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Your server must have a minimum connection speed of 128kbps to a major
backbone provider. Cable modems are not acceptable.
If you do not own the machine, then the owner must approve this server.
We will verify.
Servers that are ran from a purchased ircd shell account will not
be accepted.
You and all your operators must subscribe to the GalaxyNet Announce
mailing list after linkage.
As the server admin you must keep up-to-date with any server upgrades.
Failure to do so will result in your server being delinked from the
network.
Your server must allow connections on ports 6660 and 6667.
During the testlink period you are only allowed to have two O:lines
on your server (yes, that includes your own O:line). You may have
unlimited o:lines (locals).
You must run the latest version of the GalaxyNet ircd, which can always
be found at http://www.galaxynet.org/ircd.
You must also read and agree to the GalaxyNet policy, at http://www.galaxynet.org/policy.php
