Jan 06 ] A great loss to the community... |

The network suffered a great loss on 23rd Decemeber 2007 - Gawyn, one of the founders and forefathers of galaxynet finally succumbed to his illness after years of battling. He has contributed many of hours into the writing and improving of the codes for services*. It was not until Dec 2004 that he finally decided to call it a day and took time off to spend more time with his family members & give more attention to his illness. His role as a services administrator was subsequently passed on to flyyyie. The network benefited a great deal from this great man who worked so hard to put together this network and saw it through all these years. We might not be the top network but I am certain to say that without this man, the network would never be what it is today. We sincerely thank and salute him for everything that he has done for this network and for the entire galaxynet community and he will always be remembered in our hearts.

With the year coming close to an end, the Founders have re-elected a new team of Network Committee (Net-Com) members for the forthcoming year. As per network policy, founders have elected 4 members (flyyyie, Leon, rev & Rikske) and the top 5 nominees voted by the administration are andee, cybernaut, Eddie, Jurist and Rich.
